What is graphic design
Graphic design is art, creative, and other things. Graphic design works with drawn, painted, photographed, or even computers images. Graphic design is a creative progress that combines art and technology to communiate with ideas. The most important tool for graphic design is your own mind because everything that is creative mostly comes from you and your mind. The skills to a graphic design is visual art, typography, page layout, interface design, user exerience design, and printmaking.

Good reflection. I totally agree with you that the most important tool for any artist, from painter, to architect, to graphic designer, is their own mind. You can teach a tool, like the computer, it is far harder to teach creativity or personal experience.
